The Romanian-Canadian guitarist Floria Nica-Henneke finished her Bachelor of Honours with a Minor in Philosophy at the University of Toronto, with the distinguished professor Eli Kassner. She is winner of more international competitions in Europe and Canada (Sinaia Competition, Brasov international Competition, Kiwannis Competition, Canadian National Music Competition).

Part of her musical experience are the private and the and master classes with  Roland Dyens, Carlo Marchione, John Duarte, Elliot Fisk, Ricardo Gallen, Carles Trepat, Sergio& Odair Assad, Dale Kavanagh, and Carlo Domeniconi.

Through her interpretation and personality, Floria is regarded as a very promissing young guitarist. Her concept of bringing together her painting and singing talents bring a new level of artistry to her concerts.                                              

Floria is the recepient of  many scholarships such as David& Martha Beach Summer Study Award 2005, Kingsway Humber Scholarship 2007, Toronto Guitar Society- Ken Young Scholarship 2007, Domenico Troiano Guitar Scholarship 2008, Kölnmusikhochschule Stipendium 2008, DAAD Scholarship 2009.

She finished her Künstlerisches Ausbildung and her Masters degree with the world renouned musician Roberto Aussel at the Hochschule für Musik Köln.

Aside from guitar, Floria has a keen interess in painting, writting and singing .
